Classic diabetes bears vs a smart diabetes teddy bear

Toys like Jerry the Bear and Rufus, the Bear with Diabetes help children learn T1D care through pretend play. They are beloved comfort toys and are not connected to a real CGM. GluBear is the connected version of that idea: a plush companion that links to the child's actual Dexcom or FreeStyle Libre data through GluApp and shows live status as soft lights.

GluBear is designed for children with Type 1 diabetes and their families. It is meant to sit beside the CGM, not instead of it. Parents, caregivers, and school nurses can view trends in GluApp. Kids get games and stories in Kids Zone.
