• Collect only the information necessary to provide our services
• Allow parents to review, delete, and control the use of their children's information
• Maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of information collected from children
• Do not condition a child's participation in activities on providing more information than is reasonably necessary
• Keep Kids Zone videos on our site when we can (privacy-enhanced YouTube embed). YouTube is not loaded until a grown-up completes an on-screen check. That check is a leaving-site / third-party-player control. It is not FTC verifiable parental consent for creating an account or collecting a child’s personal information
• Do not send health or glucose data to YouTube, CDC, NIDDK, or other Kids Zone outbound pages. Those pages are educational, not medical advice, and are not a HIPAA treatment relationship
• Block Kids Zone links that are not on our approved list. Off-list destinations cannot be opened from Kids Zone
• Store grown-up-check logs without a child’s name or email: destination id, pass/fail, time, and a hashed network address, deleted after 90 days

HIPAA Compliance

For any protected health information (PHI) that may be collected or processed through our services:

• We implement appropriate safeguards to protect the privacy and security of PHI
• We limit the use and disclosure of PHI to the minimum necessary to accomplish the intended purpose
• We maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the confidentiality of PHI

SMS and mobile numbers

If you opt in to SMS from GluBear LLC (doing business as GluBear and GluApp), we collect the mobile number you provide so we can send the transactional messages you requested: shop order and shipping updates, optional GluApp caregiver or emergency-contact alerts you enable, and replies if you text the GluBear business number.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Carriers and Twilio deliver the texts. You can opt out by replying STOP or by turning SMS off in GluApp settings when that channel is available. See the Terms of Service SMS Terms section.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
