Nights are not a kid dashboard
A school night is homework, a backpack, and a sensor that still has a job after lights out. Overnight lows are treated from the CGM urgent-low alert and a grown-up who hears it. Putting a teddy on the pillow does not move that job onto the child.
Follow stays on a phone that is not the child’s
Dexcom Follow or LibreLinkUp belongs on an adult phone in the room. GluApp followers are extra. They are not a reason to mute the manufacturer alarm. If you silence G7 or Libre because the bear looks calm, the stack is upside down.
School mornings
The 504 plan and the nurse protocol do not live in a plush. A bear in the backpack is comfort on the bus. Recess and gym still use the CGM and the school’s carbs. Step-by-step: school nights and overnight lows.
